Nalu Medical, Inc. is Hiring a Supply Chain Buyer (Procurement) Near Carlsbad, CA
- Identifies the organization’s purchasing needs
- Builds relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales
- Processes requisitions and updating management on the status of orders
- Monitors MRP and managing stock levels
- Arranges transport of goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
- Understands the MRP system analyzing trends in order to make informed buying decisions
- Coordinates with inventory team, management, and stockroom
- Monitors the stock quality and escalating any discrepancies to suppliers and management
- Executes/facilitates routine requests such as inventory cycle count requests, batch status requests, inventory movement requests, sample requests, and documentation/paperwork requests
- Bachelor’s degree in business or economics
- Minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience in, R&D, Operations or other related role.
- Experience using an ERP system, NetSuite is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or product environment company medical device preferred
- Self-directed & demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues.
- Intermediate knowledge in the use of business software including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and the ability to use databases and other reporting tools.
